I'm a father, husband, and attorney. I'm running for Prairie Village City Council, Ward 3, because I want to help make Prairie Village a leader in government transparency, sustainable and locally focused growth, walkability/bikeability, and advocating for the return of local control.
When Ward 3 councilman Eric Mikkelson told me that he had decided not to run for re-election, I jumped at the opportunity to continue and build on the great work he has done on the council. Eric provided an excellent example of how much one person can accomplish in one term on the council. He was instrumental in the Meadowbrook park project and improving the safety and walkability of Mission road. And he’s been a very strong advocate for transparency. I’ll have very big shoes to fill if I’m elected.
I'm honored to be endorsed by our representative in the Kansas House, Jerry Stogsdill, a valued neighbor and community leader who shares my love for Prairie Village and my goal to advocate for returning some of the local control that has been taken from Prairie Village.
